KAD Engineering & Construction LLC Awarded Chilled Water Pipeline Network Project at Reem Hills Phase 2, Abu Dhabi

 

Abu Dhabi, August 19, 2025 – KAD Engineering & Construction LLC, a subsidiary of EHC Group, has been awarded a major Subcontract from PAL Group / Abu Dhabi Land General Contracting, for the execution of Chilled Water Pipeline Network Infrastructure Works at Reem Hills Phase 2 Development, Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

The project, awarded by M/s. PAL Najmat Cooling LLC (PAL), covers the procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of a district cooling pipeline network. The scope of works includes trench excavation, chamber construction, installation of pre-insulated pipelines (DN 200–900 mm), hydrostatic testing, flushing, chemical cleaning, insulation, waterproofing of underground structures, and reinstatement of affected areas. It also involves coordination with authorities, traffic management, obtaining NOCs and permits, site safety compliance, and efficient handling of materials and logistics.

With a project duration of 365 days, this award underscores KAD’s commitment to delivering strategic infrastructure solutions that contribute to Abu Dhabi’s sustainable urban development.
